Sahana N. Kukke, Ph.D.
Dr. Kukke is Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Catholic University of America. She received her Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Stanford University in 2009. Dr. Kukke’s research focuses on uncovering methods to improve functional movements in individuals with childhood-onset brain injuries. Her human subjects research work takes place in various settings, including outpatient neurology and rehabilitation clinics and her research laboratory. Dr. Kukke’s research assesses neurophysiological, biomechanical, and behavioral aspects of the human motor control system and their interconnections.
