Madison Berl, Ph.D.

Dr. Berl is Associate Professor at George Washington University and Pediatric Neuropsychologist for the epilepsy program at Children’s National Medical Center. She also serves as the Director of Research for the Division of Neuropsychology and Associate Director of the IDDRC Neurobehavioral Core.  She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University in 2002. Her research focuses primarily on children with epilepsy and utilizes neuropsychological and neuroimaging processes to understand the effects of seizures on cognitive and language functioning. She brings expertise to CBPR in neuropsychological evaluation of children, mapping of cognitive functions, and correlating neuropsychological functioning with neuroimaging parameters.
